Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting diverse learners in a collaborative educational setting near Racine, WI! This full-time role spans from September 1 through June 3 and is ideal for experienced Special Education Teachers passionate about making a difference across various age groups.
Youll be part of a supportive school environment, working with a cross-categorical caseload that includes high school (HS), middle school (MS), elementary school (ES), and early childhood students. Multiple positions are available to address the unique needs of each group.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin Special Education teaching licensure required
- Proven experienceor strong interestin working with cross-categorical caseloads (K-12, early childhood through high school)
- Strong classroom management skills and knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate with general education staff and families
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment
Your Role:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction for students with varying abilities
- Develop, monitor, and implement IEPs to ensure student success
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of assigned caseloads
- Engage with families and team members to drive student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
