Youll work in a supportive environment, helping students reach their learning goals and building positive relationships. The summer program runs Monday through Thursday, from 8:00am12:30pm, providing a balanced work/life schedule. Compensation ranges from $45 to $50 per hour, reflecting your dedication and skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching license with certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to student goals
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and families
- Effective in classroom management and fostering an inclusive environment
- Enthusiasm for supporting each childs individual growth journey
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction in accordance with students IEPs
- Adapt and modify curriculum as needed for differentiation
- Track student progress and maintain clear, timely documentation
- Collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to enhance outcomes
- Communicate consistently with parents or guardians about student development
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere focused on respect and confidence-building
