Qualifications:

• Valid DESE license in Moderate or Severe Special Needs (required)
• Experience teaching high school students with social, emotional, or behavioral challenges strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum and instruction for individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Use evidence-based strategies to support students academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Collaborate with school teams, families, and outside providers to ensure holistic student support
• Maintain accurate records, progress data, and compliance with special education laws and policies
