Make a positive impact supporting students as a Special Education Teacher! Multiple opportunities are available for dedicated professionals in the area. Six contract positions are offered for the 2026-2027 school year, with roles across elementary, middle, and high school settings. These positions provide support in Autistic Support (elementary) and Learning Support (middle and high school).
What Youll Need:
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required by start date (emergency permits may be sponsored by HR if needed)
- Experience working with students in special education settings
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Highlights:
- 35 hours per week, aligning with school schedules
- 1 Autistic Support Teacher for elementary
- 1 Learning Support Teacher for middle school
- 4 Learning Support Teachers for high school
- Contract length: August 24, 2026 - June 10, 2027
- Work hours: Elementary (8:15am-3:45pm), Middle (7:15am-2:45pm), High (7:13am-2:43pm)
- Make a difference by providing individualized instruction, managing IEPs, and collaborating with parents and staff
Desired Experience:
- Proven expertise or strong interest in Autistic Support or Learning Support
- Flexibility working with different grade levels
- Familiarity with special education procedures and compliance
