Desired Qualifications:

• Valid ESE certification and active Rhode Island teaching licensure in Special Education
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to partner effectively with educators, administrators, and families
• Flexible, organized, and passionate about making a positive impact on students with diverse learning needs
• Comfortable in virtual interview settings and ready to support a welcoming school community

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Provide differentiated instruction and specialized support, adapting lessons and materials as required
• Maintain accurate student records and ongoing communication with parents or guardians
• Participate in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions as needed
