Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Special Education Teacher Certification.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in special education settings.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork with educators and support staff.
• Ability to create nurturing, structured, and differentiated learning experiences.
• Reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic school environment.

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct instruction and support for third-grade students with a range of learning needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and goals.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and inclusion.
• Foster a positive, productive classroom culture that supports emotional and academic growth.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, or planning as needed to support instructional goals.
