Job Title: School Psychologist
Position Type: Full Time Contract (W2)

Sunbelt is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a local school district for the upcoming 20262027 school year.
Position Summary:
The School Psychologist supports students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by providing psychological services within a school setting. This role collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to conduct evaluations, develop intervention strategies, support mental health needs, and ensure compliance with special education regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Develop recommendations and interventions to support student academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success
- Monitor student progress and assist in developing behavioral and academic intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Masters, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid MD School Psychologist endorsement through the state
