Ideal candidates bring a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with a variety of special needs. Experience supporting students with Autism and severe behaviors is highly valued and will be prioritized in the selection process.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Texas Department of Education certification in Special Education
  • Demonstrated success in special education classrooms, with preference for those with Autism and severe behavior experience
  • Willingness to complete Texas fingerprinting requirements efficiently if not already on file
  • Commitment to working on-site; VOCO (virtual-only) options are not available
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a dedicated, collaborative approach with students and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction, behavioral interventions, and support tailored to individual learning needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with school teams, therapists, and families to support each students progress
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and learning
