Qualifications:
- Valid Special Educator License required for Oregon
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to individualized education plans and student progress
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet varying learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to support student growth
- Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Assess student abilities and progress, providing updates and recommendations as needed
- Ensure classroom management and safe, inclusive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
As part of this contract opportunity, youll work 35 hours per week during regular school hours, providing direct support to students and participating actively in school-wide initiatives. This position allows you to focus on your students while benefiting from professional and personal support.
