This is a full-time contract position for a Special Education Teacher who is enthusiastic about fostering academic and personal growth. In this role, youll develop individualized lesson plans, collaborate with a talented team, and guide students on their educational journeys within an inclusive, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement personalized lesson plans that address the unique learning requirements of each student.
• Take the lead in planning, conducting, and documenting IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings; update IEPs regularly to reflect students progress and goals.
• Work closely with fellow educators, staff, and families to ensure every childs needs are met and that classrooms are positive and welcoming.
• Track student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to help each child succeed.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Certification in Special Education.
• Ability to work on-site in the Portland, OR vicinity.
• Previous experience in a school setting or special education environment is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
