Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (state of Indiana required)
- Ability to work on-site throughout the school year
- Proven experience with individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Lead IEP meetings, collaborating with teams to create and update IEPs
- Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that values respect and individuality
- Track and report student progress, making adjustments as necessary to best support growth
