Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience with one or more of the following: Early Childhood, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary (Grades 15), Middle School (Grades 68), and High School (Grades 912)
• Strong knowledge of best practices in inclusive and resource classroom environments
• Familiarity with IEP creation, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to plan and differentiate instruction in core subjects, including Math, for students across grade levels
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Compassion, adaptability, and a commitment to nurturing student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction and support tailored to individual student needs across a range of grade levels
• Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages academic and social-emotional growth
• Use data-driven practices to assess and monitor student progress
• Offer differentiated instruction in Math and other core subjects, adapting content as necessary
