This contract role spans the academic calendar from August 10th, 2026, through May 20th, 2027, with a steady 37.5-hour workweek. You'll make a lasting impact by teaching, encouraging, and empowering learners across various grade levels and specialized settings.
Current openings address urgent needs for licensed teachers at the high school level (English and Biology, both requiring a high school certification), as well as valuable roles in middle school resource, elementary Intensive Learning Center (ILC), a pullout/inclusion combo, and Pre-K settings. All positions are on-site, enabling you to closely connect with colleagues and students in a supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Active NM licensure in Special Education
- High School Certification for English and Biology placements
- Passion for individualized student success and inclusion
- Experience (or strong interest) in environments such as resource, ILC, inclusion, and Pre-K classrooms
- Collaborative approach with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams
What Youll Do:
- Develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to address unique learning needs
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment that promotes personal growth and academic achievement
- Utilize best practices in specialized instruction for diverse learners
