This position offers an opportunity to serve as a Special Education Teacher for elementary students in a full-time, onsite role. The assignment is for the current school year (CSY) and is contract-based, providing meaningful work within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instructional support tailored to students with special education needs at the elementary level.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education staff, families, and related service providers to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Special Education Teaching License is required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a special education setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.

- Onsite position in the Port Jervis, NY area.
