Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience working with students in Pre-K, elementary, middle, or high school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and individualized instruction
• Familiarity with Math curriculum and differentiated instructional strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and support teams
• Ability to adapt quickly to new classroom settings and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging individualized and small-group instruction across a spectrum of grade levels, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Assess student strengths and areas of need; provide targeted interventions, especially in Math
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure student growth
• Maintain accurate records for student attendance, progress, and compliance documentation
• Cultivate an inclusive, positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and resilience
• Support students with diverse learning needs, adapting materials as appropriate
