Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Valid and current WI Special Education licensure required
  • Previous experience working in a cross categorical special education setting is highly valued
  • Adaptable and comfortable working with both elementary and high school age groups
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction and classroom support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues and families
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to promote growth and success
  • Collaborate closely with instructional teams, related service providers, and support staff to ensure comprehensive services
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding student progress and compliance requirements
  • Foster a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom climate for all students
