Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued by ISBE
- Prior experience or comfort working with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred
- Strong skills in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging classroom culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support for a K-3 caseload, implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to address varied developmental and learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive student care
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to encourage growth in social, behavioral, and academic areas
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
