This contract position, conveniently located near Plainfield, IL, offers the chance to work full-time (35 hours per week) across early childhood and K-8th grade settings for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools, issued through ISBE
• Experience or strong interest in working with students on the Autism Spectrum or with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Clear communication, adaptability, and a passion for differentiated instruction
• Commitment to inclusive practices, collaboration with colleagues, and ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support within individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a welcoming, structured classroom that supports student growth academically, socially, and emotionally
• Coordinate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with families and team members
• Contribute to building a positive school environment for all learners
