Job Description

A full-time Early Childhood Special Education teaching opportunity is available, providing specialized instruction to young learners aged 3 to 4 within multiple community settings. This itinerant role involves traveling between 3-4 school sites, including homeschools, daycares, or early childhood centers, delivering developmentally appropriate lessons to meet diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with state and local curricula to support early childhood learners with special education needs.
  • Lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings in accordance with the special education calendar, ensuring full compliance.
  • Conduct rigorous progress monitoring of student goals and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Organize and manage mobile learning environments, incorporating technology to enhance student engagement and academic development.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, and community partners to support student success and wellbeing.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Early Childhood Special Education teaching certificate is required.
  • Experience working with young children in special education settings is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with families and community members.

Location: This position is based onsite in Benton, Louisiana, with travel between multiple early learning sites within the region.
