Job Description
This full-time Special Education Teacher position offers an opportunity to provide dedicated support to K-8 students as a Case Manager in a school setting located in Pittsfield, NH. The role involves travel, allowing for the experience of different educational environments within the area. This is a contracted position with 35 hours per week and immediate hiring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs
- Manage caseloads for K-8 students requiring special education services
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective delivery of services
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to enhance learning outcomes
- Maintain detailed records and documentation as required by educational guidelines and regulations
- Facilitate communication between school personnel and families
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in Special Education
- Experience working with students in grades K-8
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Ability to travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities
