What Youll Need:

• Valid teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet varied learning needs
• Collaborative mindset for working closely with general education staff, related service providers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct instruction within small group and/or inclusive settings
• Modify curriculum and instructional materials to differentiate for students unique learning profiles
• Employ a variety of assessment tools to monitor and report student growth
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and state requirements
