Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential for the state of California
- Experience working with students across a variety of grade levels (Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and High School)
- Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and implementation
- Proficiency in differentiating instruction to accommodate a range of learning needs
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive classroom community
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver specialized instruction aligned to students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to meet academic, behavioral, and social goals
- Maintain thorough and timely records for assessments and progress reports
- Modify curriculum and classroom activities to support students diverse strengths
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Support accessibility and engagement through creative, student-centered approaches
