Make a difference as a Special Education Teacher supporting preschool students in a dynamic, community-based position. This contract opportunity involves working with young learners across various preschools, providing individualized support where its needed most. Youll have a balanced weekday schedule, with comprehensive training and guidance provided to ensure your success from day one.

Key Details:

• Hours: 35 per week, Monday through Friday (8:00 am 3:30 pm)
• Caseload: Approximately 30 students, all with special education needs
• Itinerant assignment: Visit preschool locations throughout the local area to deliver services

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania certification in PK-4 and/or Special Education required
• Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within the community during the school day
• Commitment to individualized student support and a passion for inclusive education

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with preschool staff and families to develop and implement individualized educational plans
• Deliver specialized instruction and interventions in community preschool settings
• Conduct ongoing assessments and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
