Looking for a meaningful contract opportunity where your expertise can make a difference for young learners? A rewarding position is now available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide itinerant support to children in community preschools. You'll work with a caseload of approximately 30 students, ensuring each child receives tailored instruction and support in various preschool settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania certification in PK-4 and/or Special Education (emergency permits not accepted)
• Previous experience working with children with special education needs strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills for collaboration across multiple sites
• Ability to travel to various preschools within the community
• Passion for early childhood education and advocating for diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to preschool students with special needs across multiple community sites
• Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs in collaboration with families and staff
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other support personnel to promote student success
• Maintain accurate progress documentation and complete required reporting
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development provided to support your success in this unique role

This contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week, following a consistent MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule. Guidance and training will be provided at the start to ensure you feel confident stepping into the role.
