Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License
  • Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience working with students with emotional disabilities and/or a broad range of eligibilities
  • Familiarity with at-risk, limited English proficient, and exceptional student populations
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and district special education policies and documentation
  • Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or willingness to attend staff development

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students in Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT, and STRIVE programs
  • Support students prosocial and self-regulatory skill development
  • Develop, implement, and maintain special services records in compliance with all guidelines
  • Collaborate with school staff to meet individualized student educational plans
  • Participate fully on-site (no virtual positions)
