Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated cohort of Special Education (ESS) Teachers to support several high school campuses across Phoenix for the upcoming school year. 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to high school students with emotional disabilities and diverse eligibility needs.

• Implement strategies to improve prosocial behaviors and self-regulatory skills in students.

• Develop and manage all special services documentation (IEPs, progress reports, etc.) according to federal, state, and district standards.

• Utilize the Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) framework (training is available for those not already certified).

• Demonstrate cultural competency and awareness when working with at-risk and limited English proficient populations.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching License.

• Current Arizona K-12 Special Education Certificate.

• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Proven experience working with students who have emotional disabilities or behavioral needs.

• Must be available for the full contract term, including mandatory CIE orientation from July 2124.
