Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated cohort of Special Education (ESS) Teachers to support several high school campuses across Phoenix for the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver specialized instruction to high school students with emotional disabilities and diverse eligibility needs.
Implement strategies to improve prosocial behaviors and self-regulatory skills in students.
Develop and manage all special services documentation (IEPs, progress reports, etc.) according to federal, state, and district standards.
Utilize the Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) framework (training is available for those not already certified).
Demonstrate cultural competency and awareness when working with at-risk and limited English proficient populations.
Qualifications
Active Arizona Standard Secondary Teaching License.
Current Arizona K-12 Special Education Certificate.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Proven experience working with students who have emotional disabilities or behavioral needs.
Must be available for the full contract term, including mandatory CIE orientation from July 2124.
