Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking 34 dedicated Special Education (ESS) Teachers to join high school teams throughout the Phoenix area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a massive hiring initiative focused on supporting students who require specialized instruction and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and support to students with emotional disabilities and those struggling with self-regulatory and prosocial skills.

  • Demonstrate a high level of awareness for diverse student needs, including at-risk, ethnic, limited English proficient, and exceptional learners.

  • Develop and implement specialized services and documents in strict accordance with federal, state, and district guidelines.

  • Utilize the Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) framework (training provided if necessary).

Qualifications

  • Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License.

  • Current Arizona K-12 Special Education Certificate.

  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Proven experience in a secondary Special Education setting, specifically with emotional disabilities.

  • Commitment to onsite instruction (no virtual/teletherapy options available).
