Description

Seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join their team for the 20262027 school year running ASAP through May 27, 2027. These full-time contract opportunities offer 37.5 hours per week with assigned positions across K5 elementary campuses.

  • Position 1 (Resource): Supporting a caseload of 2025 students across 4th and 5th grades.

  • Position 2 (Medically Fragile): Managing a self-contained classroom setting with 8 students and 3 dedicated assistants.

Position Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored instructional interventions and support based on classroom assignment (Resource or Medically Fragile).

  • Develop, write, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while tracking student progress and managing compliance.

  • Lead daily classroom routines, implement positive behavior supports, and supervise classroom paraprofessionals/assistants.

  • Collaborate with school administration, multidisciplinary support teams, and families to optimize student growth and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification (AZ SPED).

  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Experience writing IEPs and delivering specialized instruction tailored to elementary caseloads.

  • Strong team collaboration and classroom management skills.
