We are currently seeking qualified Special Education Teachers for full-time school-based positions in the Phoenix, Arizona area for the upcoming 20262027 school year. These opportunities are ideal for educators who enjoy creating supportive learning environments and working with students with a wide range of abilities and needs.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Phoenix area, AZ
- School year assignment: August 3, 2026 May 20, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 37.540 hours per week
- Opportunities available in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Variety of classroom programs available
Classroom Programs May Include:
- Resource support classrooms
- Autism-focused programs
- Multiple disabilities classrooms
- Structured learning environments designed to support student independence and growth
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
- Adapt lessons and materials to support student learning.
- Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment.
- Track student progress and collaborate with school teams.
- Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience working with students receiving special education services preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
