Position Overview
We are looking for four passionate Special Education Teachers to join an elementary school district in the Greater Phoenix area for the upcoming school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with early learners in either Resource or Self-Contained settings. The district prides itself on open communication, allowing candidates to discuss specific caseload details directly with the team during the interview process to ensure a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Design: Establish clear learning objectives and adapt programs to meet the unique academic and social needs of students (Pre-K to 2nd Grade).
IEP Management: Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while maintaining meticulous student records.
Classroom Environment: Maintain a positive and effective classroom management style that motivates young learners to reach their full potential.
Collaboration: Actively communicate with families and school staff to support student transitions and growth.
Schedule & Contract Details
Duration: August 4, 2026 May 20, 2027.
Hours: Full-time (approx. 37.5 40 hours/week). Typical shifts are 8:00 AM 4:00 PM or 7:00 AM 3:00 PM.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
State Licensure: Active Arizona Special Education Teaching License.
Clearance: Must possess a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Identity Verified Print).
