Special Education Teacher
Location: South Philadelphia, PA
Term: 2026/2027 Full School Year
Status: Full-Time Contract (35 Hours/Week)
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Special Education Teacher for a full-year contract assignment.
As a contract professional in this program, you will work in a supportive, resource-rich environment designed to help young learners with a variety of needs develop foundational skills in a specialized classroom setting.
Key Position Details
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 3:30 PM
Caseload: To be discussed on interview
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
Requirements
To be considered for this contract position, candidates MUST possess:
- Pennsylvania Instructional I or Instructional II certification (No emergency certifications will be accepted)
- Special Education endorsement
- Previous experience working with special needs students strongly preferred
- New grads who meet above qualifications are welcome to apply
Candidates who are not fully licensed or who will not be licensed before the beginning of the 26-27 school year will NOT be considered.
