Job Description

Youll be an itinerant teacher, providing specialized support and personalized instruction to a caseload of approximately 30 students. Enjoy the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational teams and positively shape the early learning experiences for children ages PK-4.

What youll need to succeed:

  • Valid PK-4 and/or Special Education certification in Pennsylvania
  • Experience working with young children requiring special education services
  • Strong organizational skills to manage itinerant schedules and caseload documentation
  • Excellent communication abilities for partnership with teachers, families, and service providers
  • Commitment to delivering instruction and interventions aligned with students IEPs
  • Adaptability and confidence traveling to multiple community preschool locations

What youll do:

  • Provide direct special education services to preschool students across various community sites
  • Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on each child's IEP
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to create inclusive, nurturing environments
  • Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate records for each student
  • Participate in ongoing professional training and benefit from expert guidance during onboarding

Enjoy a structured weekday schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the consistency of a 35-hour work week.
