In this role, you will:

• Deliver tailored instruction and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of middle school students receiving special education services
• Collaborate closely with staff, parents, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation, manage IEP compliance, and contribute to student assessments and progress meetings
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and development
• Attend professional development sessions and participate in school meetings as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in teaching from an accredited college or university
• Pennsylvania State Special Education Certification (K-8 or N12) required
• Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to new environments and build relationships within a school community
