Youll serve students within a single school, working 37.5 hours each week. The school day begins at 7:45 am and ends at 3:15 pm, providing a structured routine that ensures both professional consistency and work-life balance. Your responsibilities will include both leading a class or two and co-teaching during other periods, ensuring a collaborative and dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification (N-12 or 7-12)
• Experience working in special education settings
• Preference for candidates with current PA certification in High School Algebra and/or Science
• Strong ability to provide learning support and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative skills and a commitment to inclusive education
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and effectively partner with general education teachers

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students requiring learning support, both independently and through co-teaching
• Collaborate with educational staff to design and implement effective lesson plans
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records per IEP requirements
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Engage with students in grades covered by the assigned certification, supporting social, academic, and emotional development
