This opportunity is for a Bilingual (Spanish) Dyslexia Interventionist working with elementary and middle school students in Manor, Texas. The role focuses on providing specialized reading interventions to support students with dyslexia, utilizing proven methods to enhance literacy skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified in Reading by Design (required)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Esperanza Training certification (preferred)
- Experience working with elementary and middle school age groups
- Background in special education and dyslexia intervention is highly valued
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Work directly with an assigned caseload of students requiring dyslexia support
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to provide tailored instructional strategies
- Implement evidence-based reading interventions to improve student outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
