This contract opportunity is ideal for a certified Special Education Teacher interested in supporting learners across multiple grade levels and school environments. Youll work on-site within three different school buildings, engaging with students from 1st through 11th grade, including charter schools and those within the Keene boundary.
As a key member of the special education team, youll provide specialized instruction to help each student succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Enjoy the flexibility to select a part-time or full-time schedule designed to fit your needs.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- New Hampshire Special Education Teacher certification (required)
- Experience teaching in special education settings, with adaptability across elementary and high school grade levels
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and implement accommodating strategies
- Collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and related service providers
- Commitment to onsite presenceremote work is not available for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with diverse learning needs in grades 1-11
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Support students within both general education and specialized classrooms as appropriate
- Track progress and generate reports to facilitate student growth and compliance
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings across multiple school locations
