Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with diverse learners across grades Pre-K through 12
• Strong background in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Solid understanding of Math instruction and adaptive teaching methods
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
• Flexibility to adapt lessons for various developmental and academic levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students unique needs
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Employ engaging, differentiated instructional strategies, especially in Mathematics
• Utilize appropriate classroom management techniques to create a supportive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions
• Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication regarding student progress
• Partner with families, administrators, and fellow educators to promote student success
