Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification or licensure in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the ability to implement and adapt them effectively
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adapt instructional methods to meet unique learning needs
• New graduates are encouraged to applymentorship and support available

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and modify IEP goals in collaboration with other service providers
• Deliver direct instruction that aligns with student IEP objectives, using evidence-based practices
• Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed
• Document services provided and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, communicate with families, and provide input to ensure comprehensive support for each student
• Caseloads determined by your experience and preferences, allowing for a customized and supportive working arrangement
