Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with K-1 students in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt materials for diverse learning needs
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children with disabilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of K-1 resource students
• Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to support student success
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instruction as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that celebrates each childs strengths
• Attend team meetings, participate in professional development, and contribute to a supportive school community
