Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state certification to teach Special Education
• Proven experience working with resource and/or self-contained classrooms
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt and personalize learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage instruction for students with a range of learning differences in both resource and self-contained environments
• Prepare and modify lesson plans based on individual student needs and IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, families, and administrators to ensure each childs success
• Maintain detailed records and monitor student progress toward established goals
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and productive classroom climate
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other school functions
