A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in Peoria, AZ, serving K-12 students within a contract school year (CSY) assignment. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction to high school students with autism in a self-contained classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to support students with autism and other special needs.
• Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting instructional methods as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, counselors, and families, to ensure comprehensive student support.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with high school students in a self-contained autism classroom.
