Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility for Nebraska certification)

- Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the SRS (Special Education Reporting System) platform for managing special education documentation
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs in both resource and co-taught settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Experience at the high school level is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a typical caseload of high school students requiring special education services
- Write and maintain IEPs, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements
- Conduct and lead IEP meetings, collaborating with staff, families, and service providers
- Teach resource and some basic courses, with an emphasis on co-teaching alongside general education faculty
- Monitor, document, and report student progress and accommodations
- Employ effective instructional strategies to support academic and behavioral outcomes
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
