Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Deep understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• Familiarity with differentiated instruction, especially in math
• Up-to-date knowledge of special education laws and best practices
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans for students with varying needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to maximize success
• Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide direct instruction in mathematics and other core subjects as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance requirements
