Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students in any of the following: Early Childhood, Pre-K, Kindergarten, Grades K-5, 6-8, 9-12
• Strong background in Math instruction
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Passion for working with students with varying needs and abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to teach across multiple grade levels as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction in both academic and social skills
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate learning styles and abilities
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators
• Attend relevant meetings and participate in professional development
