Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience or interest in working with students in Early Childhood, Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary (K5), middle school (grades 68), and high school (grades 912).
- Proficiency in supporting students with diverse learning needs, including Math instruction.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to individualized education plans (IEPs) and ongoing progress monitoring.
- Flexibility to adapt instructional methods to meet varied student abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective instructional plans for a diverse caseload of students requiring special education services.
- Facilitate small group and individualized instruction, with a focus on Math and other core subjects when needed.
- Work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all state and federal requirements.
- Regularly communicate with parents, caregivers, and education teams to support student growth.
