Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current and valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (required)
  • Experience teaching students with a range of learning needs in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to partner effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Comfort differentiating curriculum to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Prior experience with IEP development and progress monitoring is highly beneficial

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction in accordance with each students IEP and educational goals
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to support academic, emotional, and social development
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust instructional techniques as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate regularly with parents or guardians
  • Maintain accurate records related to student assessments, goals, and progress reports
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and productive school community
