Key Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license
• Bachelors degree in special education or related field (Masters preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working with high school students with unique learning needs
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and colleagues
• Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for fostering inclusive educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to high school students based on IEP goals
• Develop, update, and maintain Individualized Education Plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide engaging, differentiated lessons that support diverse learning styles and needs
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure student success within the least restrictive environment
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates, strategies, and resources
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
