Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist licensure required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP writing, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, families, and related service providers
• Proficient in adapting curriculum and employing differentiated instruction techniques for high school students
• Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy skills
• Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of high school students with varying abilities and needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Deliver direct instruction and support, both in small groups and individually
• Collaborate with teaching staff, counselors, and families to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities
