Shape the academic journey of students by providing specialized support across a broad spectrum of grade levels, from early childhood through high school. Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for grades Pre-K through 12
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering instruction across multiple education levels (Early Childhood, K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
- Experience in tailoring instruction to meet Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and diverse student needs
- Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies for math curriculum and core academic subjects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with students, families, and educational teams
- Flexibility to support classrooms from Pre-School through High School as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Provide specialized instruction and differentiation in small group and whole class settings
- Modify curriculum and create supportive, engaging learning environments
- Track and document student progress, communicating results with parents/guardians and staff
- Collaborate with educational specialists, paraprofessionals, and support personnel
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development to stay current with best practices
