Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential.

  • Strong instructional background in adapting curriculum across general education subjects, with particular emphasis on math.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, therapists, and families.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and engaging learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique strengths and challenges.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and adapt materials to support a variety of learning styles and developmental levels.
  • Assess academic and social progress regularly, maintaining detailed records and sharing meaningful insights with staff and families.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to optimize student success and inclusion.
