Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Special Education License required
- Experience with high school students preferred
- Strong foundation in special education practices and individualized instruction
- Background working with diverse learning needs; behavioral support experience highly desirable
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet each students needs and goals
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly communicate with families and related service providers
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages growth and development
- Collaborate with general educators, staff, and administration to ensure comprehensive support
