Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Special Education License required
  • Experience with high school students preferred
  • Strong foundation in special education practices and individualized instruction
  • Background working with diverse learning needs; behavioral support experience highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet each students needs and goals
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly communicate with families and related service providers
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages growth and development
  • Collaborate with general educators, staff, and administration to ensure comprehensive support
