Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Kansas K-12 SPED Teaching License
- Special education classroom experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple school sites and flexible scheduling
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaboration with school teams, families, and other professionals
- Familiarity with IEP processes and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between assigned schools to deliver direct special education services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain effective communication and partnership with staff and families
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners
- Complete progress reports and student documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development activities
