Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting students with significant behavioral and developmental needs. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic educational setting, serving students from elementary through high school in a specialized Setting 4 environment, focused on providing intensive support to those with the most severe disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators, support staff, and families to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Utilizing evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions to promote student growth and achievement
• Maintaining accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training related to special education practices

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (must hold a Tier 3 or Tier 4 license)
• Demonstrated experience working with students who exhibit high behaviors and/or have severe disabilities
• Ability to manage complex caseloads across elementary through high school grade levels
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for supporting the success and well-being of students with significant needs

This full-time contract position runs from late September 2026 through early June 2027, Monday through Friday, offering 37.5 hours per week. The role provides an opportunity to develop professionally while making a real difference in a specialized educational setting.
