This contract position is based in a dynamic elementary school known for its innovative approach to mathematics, science, and childrens engineering, offering students an engaging, project-based learning environment. Key Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota teaching certification (Tier 3 or 4 required). Please ensure your certificate and resume are attached for consideration.
• Previous experience working with students exhibiting emotional and behavioral disorders highly valued.
• Strong classroom management abilities and knowledge of best practices for EBD settings.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to adapt communication and instruction to support diverse learning styles and needs.

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students in a center-based EBD setting.
• Employ evidence-based strategies and support techniques to encourage positive behaviors and academic achievement.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and specialists to create an inclusive, supportive educational atmosphere.
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and professional development sessions.
• Cultivate an engaging classroom where all students can thrive and feel valued.
