Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience teaching at the junior high or high school level
  • Prior work with special education caseloads

  • Familiarity with teaching Science, English, or Math is a strong plus
  • Commitment to student-centered teaching strategies and individualized instruction

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective classroom and individualized instruction tailored to diverse student needs
  • Manage a class of 20 or fewer students, maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to advance educational outcomes
  • Create and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to maximize student success
  • Foster open communication with families, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged in the educational process

This contract position begins August 17, 2026, and continues through June 2, 2027, with consistent weekly hours.
